What On Earth Publishing Ltd is a small, well established and energetic business that works in the educational publishing sector. We have developed a range of unique wallcharts, known as Wallbooks, and educational assets that provide a highly acclaimed resource for teachers and schools mainly in the Primary sector. We are now launching a packaged set and we are looking for a professional person to take on and spearhead the sales and marketing of this product which is named “The Wallbook Wonderbox”.
The vast majority of the work will involve the canvassing by phone of warm leads; schools that we have visited over the past 3 years and schools that have previously purchased Wallbooks. In addition there are warm leads constantly being created through our appearances at various shows, literary events and festivals.
The ideal candidate will have a terrifically positive approach as well as a confident phone manner. They will be happy working to mutually agreed targets. A specific knowledge of the education system or of telemarketing would be a benefit.
Work can be carried out from the office in Leigh near Hildenborough and also, if desired, from a remote location. Regular meetings will be held at the office. The candidate must be capable of working independently as the office is sometimes un-manned although support will of course be given. Self motivation and management are essential as are initiative, flexibility and a warm personality.
The position is initially for a 1 month trial followed by a 3 month contract that will be renewable. The position requires the candidate to provide services as a contractor and is not an offer of a salaried position within the company. Working days and hours, remuneration and commission by agreement.
