Vine Lettings

Vine lettings are a new, local residential lettings agency based in the Sevenoaks Business Centre on Lime Tree Walk. We offer a friendly, approachable, business minded service to both our landlords and tenants and we aim to set new standards in an often vilified industry. We are members of the National Approved Lettings scheme (NALS) and of The Property Ombudsman (TPO), whose code of practice we uphold.

As experienced landlords and developers with properties in Kent and SE London, we have encountered good, bad and unacceptable practice in our dealings with agents over the years. Our goal is to set and deliver a gold standard in service, equal to that we ourselves would expect from an agent.

As landlords, we are happy to pay for tenants to be found and for our tenancies and properties to be managed. We are not happy paying unearned re-occurring finder’s fees, with letting agents who make a claim on the sale price of our home or buying back our existing tenants if we decide to manage our own tenancy.

As tenants we are happy to pay a one off fee that reflects the work done helping us find a property, covers referencing, credit checks, tenancy agreements, paperwork and inventory services. We are not happy paying a myriad of charges that quickly add-up, followed by more when the tenancy ends. We do not subscribe to practices that take advantage of a lack of experience or pressurise difficult decisions.

Whilst we are a new business, we already have plenty of business experience. Our directors have been running successful Sevenoaks businesses for nearly a decade. We already offer, and expect, high levels of customer service coupled with transparent and fair pricing. We are used to being measured by our results and delivering a standard of excellence to our clients. Vine Lettings will work to these same high standards, drawing on our experience as landlords, tenants, employers and parents, coupled with the expert knowledge of an experienced Lettings Manager who shares our values.
