New life-saving equipment has been installed in Underriver in honour of a legendary volunteer who lived in the village.The automated external defibrillator (AED) now located at the village hall was made possible thanks to a donation from the family of Jennifer Thornton, who died in August 2013.Mrs Thornton was such a popular figure in Sevenoaks that her family installed a video link in Underriver Village Hall for her funeral as St Margaret's Church could not accommodate all the mourners.The...
