    Street Sweeper Driver

    Salary Band B £20,324 to £21,520 per annum equating to between £10.54 and £11.16 per hour

    A generous annual leave allowance of 23 days (plus an additional 5 days depending on having Continuous Local Government Service).

    The Role

    We are looking to recruit a Street Cleansing driver who ideally holds a current CPC card and is qualified to drive a vehicle up to 7.5 tonnes. You will provide cleansing support to the whole of the district and at times will be required to litter pick on foot.

    This role would suit a motivated and reliable individual who enjoys working outside and as part of a team.

    The Team

    You will be joining a committed and valued team of twenty one. Direct services has approximately 110 operational staff working in various areas including waste management, deport management, transport, workshops and environmental enforcement.
