Shoreham museum buys OAP a new scooter

    A Second World War veteran who had his mobility scooter stolen has received a new set of wheels from Shoreham Aircraft Museum volunteers. Former Spitfire pilot Rodney Scrase had left the scooter outside the front of his house on Wednesday, June 3, before two men were seen to bundle it into their van and drive off. Mr Scrase, who flew over Italy during the war and was awarded with the Distinguished Flying Cross for his efforts, has been a frequent visitor to the aircraft museum over the years....
