Housing Support Officer

  1. Housing is key function of the Council, and you’ll add resilience to the whole service by providing administrative support. You’ll have the opportunity to develop your skills by working with colleagues with a vast amount of housing experience and will be on hand to help answer any queries you may have.

    If you have a background in a customer focused role, then you’ll know what is needed – excellent communication and an empathetic approach. You’ll act as the first point of contact for the triage service by answering queries and assisting residents with their application queries as well liaising with MP and FOI requests.

    You’ll be comfortable with spreadsheets & data analysis and be confident taking minutes in a variety of meetings.

    This role will be based at our Council Offices, Argyle Road, Sevenoaks Kent TN13 1HG. We currently operate a hybrid working model for the majority of our roles where your working time will be divided between the office (2-3 days) and home working (2-3 days).
