An elderly man had to be cut free from his car after crashing into a telegraph pole in Knockholt this evening.Kent Fire and Rescue Service was called to a car crash on Old London Road at 6.31pm.They discovered a man in his 70s had crashed his car into a telegraph pole. Crews used hydraulic rescue equipment to remove both front and rear doors on the drivers side of the car. They also cut away the dash to gain access to the driver's legs.
