New Ash Green residents are being given the opportunity to speak to police, Kent Fire and Rescue and community wardens at a crime prevention event.
On Thursday 17 April representatives from various agencies in west Kent will be on hand to provide help and advice to residents who are looking to protect their home and garden.

Representatives will be at the following locations:
    • New Ash Green town centre car park between 12:30pm and 2pm
    • Woodlands Garden Centre, Ash Lane in Ash from 2:30pm until 4pm
Visitors will be able to get free crime prevention advice from the North West Kent crime prevention panel, home safety advice from Kent Fire and Rescue Service, meet their local Kent County Council community warden and also have tamper proof screws fitted to vehicle number plates free of charge by neighbourhood police officers.
The crime prevention event is part of a drive across Sevenoaks district to help residents protect their home and their valuables to deter thieves.
