  1. Lead and develop our Building Control Service!

    Our successful Building Control service needs your wealth of experience to promote a focus on our customers and provide an excellent value for money service.

    Your knowledge of building control legislation will allow you to provide insight and guidance to the team. Your commercial focus will also allow you to motivate the team to develop further and maximise the most of our leading market position

    You’ll negotiate and advise a variety of internal and external customers as well assisting the team in the delivery of the service to ensure that statutory requirements and service targets are met.

    If you are wondering what skills you’ll need then you’ll be a qualified member of CABE, RICS or CIOB and have an in-depth knowledge of Building Acts and Regulations.

    This role will be based at our Council Offices, Argyle Road, Sevenoaks Kent TN13 1HG. We currently operate a hybrid working model for the majority of our roles where your working time will be divided between the office (3 days) and home working (2 days).
