Spa Valley Railway - Westerham Branch Gala - 30/10/2011

50 years to the day after the closure of the Westerham Branch, the Spa Valley Railway recreated the line for one weekend only. Tunbridge Wells West becoming Westerham, High Rocks becoming Chevening Halt, Groombridge becoming Brasted and Eridge becoming Dunton Green. The weekend also saw the happy homecoming of L&SWR M7 No. 53, which was shedded at Tunbridge Wells West in 1965. A two train service operated throught the weekend, the Westerham Flyer between 'Dunton Green' and 'Brasted'. And a second train operating the full line. SouthEasternSteam
