Fundraising Events for 2012
During my year of office as the Town Mayor I am supporting two very worthwhile charities:-

New School at West Heath, which is an independent School catering for a diverse range of needs for boys and girls aged 11-19, many of whom have emotional and social communication difficulties. The children who attend this school have been emotionally damaged by abuse, bereavement, bullying or other trauma. The aim of the school is to rebuild their lives through education. Children are assessed and support is prepared within their time-table which may include cognitive behavioural therapist, counsellor, speech or language therapist, or relaxation and historic therapy techniques. Spring House, which is situated at Sevenoaks Hospital and is a Sure Start Children’s Centre commissioned by Kent County Council. It is here that parents can receive advice and help with their parenting skills, as well as links to Job Centre Plus, further education and training opportunities. Families with children under the age of 5 are offered emotional and practical support such as access to child and family health services, drop-in stay and play sessions, post and antenatal groups, parenting support, young parent groups and much more. Stag Community Arts Centre, 8.00 p.m
A Bond themed show on the stage, pure talent and a few surprises. Bond theme dress optional.

Saturday 11th February 2012 - Town Mayor’s Charity Quiz with Fish & Chips supper
Sevenoaks Community Centre 7.00 p.m for 7.30pm
The Town Mayor’s Annual Quiz is always great entertainment. Book your team of 8.

Thursday 8th March 2012 - International Women’s Day Lunch
New School at West Heath, 12.30 p.m
A lunch to celebrate International Women’s Day in the wonderful setting, with a few celebrities expected.

Friday 13th April 2012 - Town Mayor’s Charity Golf Day
Knole Park Golf Club, 7.30 a.m.
A whole day of entertaining fun competitive golf. Ticket price includes breakfast and lunch and green fees.
