    A campaign to save a much-loved Ide Hill wood has ended with success after fears it would be sold to private owners by Kent County Council.More than 2,000 people signed a petition to keep Stubbs Wood open to the public after the county council said it would dispose of the 99-acre plot to cut costs.Now, after months of negotiations with the county council, Sundridge with Ide Hill Parish Council has agreed to take the wood on after a deal was struck on Monday.And Matthew Balfour, the county...
