  1. Sevenoaks District is unique and special with beautiful countryside, vibrant towns and just half an hour from central London.
We are proud to be the first Local Authority in the UK to become financially self-sufficient – an outcome of our financial 10 year plan which was recognised in the Guardian Public Sector Awards 2016.

This is an exciting opportunity for someone who has an interest in Housing and working with people to make a real difference. As part of the Housing Advice Team you will deliver essential administrative and support functions for the team, as well as providing first class customer services to people facing homelessness.

You will need to have excellent organisational and computer skills to maintain accurate customer and financial records, monitoring service delivery and building relationships with key partners to meet customer expectations. You should have experience of delivering customer services to a high standard combined with excellent verbal and written communication skills. You will be an integral part of Housing Advice Team which delivers essential homelessness prevention services.
You will need to have a logical and methodical approach to managing workloads and enjoy using creative techniques to deliver effective monitoring and case management systems within a busy and supportive team environment.
