Talk by Michael Fallon MP on Planning and Energy - Fri 4 December

Our next event will be a talk by Michael Fallon MP about planning and energy, entitled "Your home, your energy, your money". It is on Friday 4 December in the Plaza suite of the Stag community arts centre in Sevenoaks. Free entry (no ticket needeed), from 7pm; bar and refreshments available.

Michael authored the Private Member's Bill which later became law as the Planning & Energy Act 2008. It gives local authorities the power to require a minimum percentage of renewable energy and low carbon measures in new housing and office developments. To what extent are your Council making use of this to help achieve reductions in carbon emissions? This is your chance to ask an expert.
