Seedling swap and chicken +bee keeping demo

Sunday 25 April 10.30-12.30 at Quakers Hall Lane allotments in Sevenoaks.

Put the date in your diary now! A repeat of event successfully held last year. It's hard to predict which seeds will germinate well, and easy to end up for instance with too many Brussels sprouts seedlings and not enough beetroot. Not a problem – bring your surplus seedlings along and swap them for ones more useful to you. No money involved: put something in, take something out.

There will also be demonstrations of chicken keeping and of bee keeping, for anyone interested in branching out beyond vegetables and fruit to getting their own supply of eggs or honey.
