  1. Proud to be the first ever Local Authority to be awarded the prestigious Investors in People Platinum award, Sevenoaks District Council is looking to appoint a Principal Human Resources Advisor to provide guidance, advice, and lead on HR initiatives to join our small, but busy, HR team.

    Working in a non-hierarchal environment your work will be providing advice and support to staff and managers through the entire employee life cycle and be able to use your skills to influence, build trust and come up with innovative solutions to problems. You will be expected to create and implement new projects and processes, whether this is policies, reward and talent or employee benefits schemes. Dealing with complex Employee Relations issues, you must have extensive experience with Employee Relations casework, ideally within a unionised environment and a strong knowledge of Employment Law.

    This role is based in Argyle Road Sevenoaks, and you will be expected to travel to other sites as required, providing HR support for staff of all levels across a broad range of specialisms including Housing, Planning, Environmental, and Legal teams.
