OTFORD Village Fete Committee are running a children’s art competition to design a logo for this year’s event with a theme of commemorating the end of World War One. You can use whatever image or pictures you feel best reflect this theme but it is to celebrate the end of the War when the country was looking to move on from four very tragic and difficult years. Your entry could be pictures of children waving flags or having a street party anything optimistic. Entries should be on A4 paper accompanied by an entry form which is downloadable from their website or available from Otford Parish Council offices in the High Street. The design will be used on the front page of their programme, in posters and in articles written by the local press. The child whose drawing is selected will receive a £25gift voucher with a £10 voucher being given for the runner-up in each of the age groups, 6 years and under, age 7-10 and age 11 plus.
