PICK up after your dog is the continual message to dog owners who use public pavements, footpaths and the recreation grounds. This problem is particularly bad at the moment and perhaps the bad weather is the cause of dog walkers not picking up after their pets but the result mess has to be cleared by someone and if you have a dog then it is a legal requirement to clear up after it. Our lovely village is being spoilt by unthinking dog owners so if you have a dog please pick up after it.

FRIENDS of the Earth, Sevenoaks Branch, meet on the borders of Otford and Kemsing at 8pm on the third Tuesday of each month. If you are interested in joining them contact John on 01959 524906 for more information.

FOR any girls or volunteers interested in joining Girlguiding Otford there is a website to register your interest, log onto www.girlguiding.org.uk/interested or call 0800 1 69 59 01.
