Tai chi and qigong classes are starting again from 23rd April.
In addition to the usual venues (The Knole Academy - Thursday evening, and St. Luke's Church Hall - Friday lunchtimes), there is a new class starting at MANOR CLINIC on Thursday 23rd at 3.00-3.55pm).

This class is open to anyone whether suffering from joint problems or not, but is particularly good for helping those with ARTHRITIS.
    • In this class you will learn a set of exercises for the major joints in the body; these exercises have been found to be ideal for arthritis sufferers.
    • A TAI CHI form will also be taught - The Sun style 12-Step Form. This is a 'standardised' routine that is practiced throughout the world, and is an excellent introduction to tai chi.

There is focus on the principles of tai chi, how to move, how to use movement from the 'centre', work on coordination, balance, flexibility, breathing, de-stressing and relaxation.
