Moat this week took handover of six new apartments for rent (4 x two bedroom and 2 x one bedroom) in the village of West Kingsdown, Kent from contractor, Skillcrown Homes.

The new homes were built on the site of the former West Kingsdown Parish Hall and demonstrate local partnership working between Moat, West Kingsdown Parish Council, Sevenoaks District Council and Skillcrown Homes. They have been designed to meet the latest standards in insulation and sustainability and meet level three of the Code for Sustainable Homes.

The Parish Council is in the process of completing a new community sports facility adjacent to the library on London Road, and the sale of the former Parish Hall site provided funding for this project.

Terry Phillips, Moat’s Business Development Manager, said:

The homes will be for rent to local people. To find out whether you’re eligible, contact Sevenoaks District Council on 01732 749400.
