Four arrested following alleged assault on teenager

    Police are appealing for information following an assault in New Ash Green on Friday, 23 January 2015.

    The incident occurred outside Ash House in Ash Road, New Ash Green between 4.30pm and 5pm. It is reported that a 17-year-old boy was assaulted by a group of six teenagers who allegedly threw rocks at him and hit him with sticks. Following on from this it is said a man came from Ash House and assisted the victim before the suspects ran off.

    After the initial incident the 17-year-old walked down Centre Road where he saw the group again. It is then reported the group assaulted him, it is alleged he was stamped on and beaten. During the assault it is believed several motorists saw the disturbance and sounded their horns. After the alleged assault two women came to the aid of the victim, one of the women drove the teenager home.

    Witnesses showed 'great bravery'
    Investigating officer, PC Swift said:
    Four arrested
    • A 15-year-old girl, a 15-year-old boy and two 16-year-old boys have all been arrested in connection with the incident. The have been bailed pending further enquiries.
