  1. Sevenoaks Parking Services is looking to recruit a highly self-motivated and customer focussed individual to join its parking enforcement team.

The successful candidate will need to demonstrate a "can do" attitude to their work, and be able to work well on their own and as part of a team.

The working day will be spent patrolling on street parking locations and off street car parks, either by vehicle and foot patrol, and issuing penalty charge notices to vehicles that are parked illegally. Using common sense and initiative and acting fairly and reasonably at all times.

Good customer services and communications skills are essential to the post, along with the ability to cope well in pressurised and stressful situations.

Previous experience in a parking enforcement role may be helpful but it is not essential, full training in parking enforcement and customer services will be given.

You will need to hold a full driving licence and you will be required to work a shift rota requiring evening, weekend, and Bank Holiday working.

To find out more about the post please call John Strachan, Parking Services Manager on 01732 227310.

The successful candidate will be subject to a Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) Check, and a 6-month probationary period if they are not already working for a Local Authority.

    Interview Date - TBC
