    A council has shot down concerns by villagers that drinking water may be contaminated.Villagers in Borough Green were concerned that 270 concrete piles being driven through the ground where homes are being built on a contaminated old quarry in Fairfield Road could adversely affect the water supply.The site is directly over an extraction aquifer, where the local drinking water is drawn from.Borough Green resident Ian Gerrard said: "As part of the planning process the Environmental Agency...
